Fashion show struts across Town and Gown

No matter how many episodes of "America’s Next Top Model" or "Project Runway" you’ve seen, nothing compares to the backstage scene at an actual fashion show.

USC’s Fashion Industry Association hosted its fourth annual fashion show Friday night in Town and Gown.

The swanky event featured such designers as 86 Gestalt, Antibody, Aveil, February 4th, Itsola, Jessica Leroy, Miss Davenporte and Shoshana.

And though the show flowed seamlessly, minus a few musical and technical difficulties, the effortlessness betrayed the hard work that went on behind the scenes.

"The funny thing about a fashion show is that it all comes down to the last minute. I had a model call in sick and changes to the VIP list, so it all comes down to the last few hours before the show," said Claudia Codron, co-president of FIA and one of the show’s organizers.
